The resilience and agility of network security

Meghan Good, VP and cyber solutions lead, Intelligence Group at Leidos says the big lessons learned from the pandemic are resilience and agility.

Enterprise systems are operating in ways that leaders might not have considered they ever would. That’s a foundation of good systems engineering, Good says. Resilience of a complex enterprise network, connecting all kinds of devises and users, needs strong security policies, which is why, Good says that 2020 has impacted the way leaders calculate risk.

That has changed the role of the CISO, she says, to manage a different set of priorities around data and traffic in order to protect the health of information traveling across the network.
